Commonly Asked Questions

Motorcycle Shop Info

  • Not typically. We value our family time on weekends, so our shop is usually closed on Saturdays. In rare cases, we may be available by special arrangement—just note that our hourly rate may be higher to accommodate weekend hours.

  • We work on most major motorcycle brands, generally focusing on models from 2000 and newer. For older or vintage bikes, it’s case by case, depending on condition and parts availability. Feel free to contact us for details.

  • Yes, our shop is fully insured to protect both your motorcycle and our team. Your bike is in safe hands when it’s with us.

  • Absolutely. We keep all bikes indoors—both those awaiting service and those we’ve already completed—so they stay protected from the elements (and prying eyes).

  • As a smaller operation, we occasionally limit the number of big projects to keep our turnaround times manageable. We typically allow one or two large-project bikes at a time—though we’re more flexible in the off-season. Contact us to discuss your specific job.

Scheduling & Logistics

  • We handle everything more efficiently over the phone or online, which saves you time and prevents your bike from sitting here waiting in line. As a smaller shop, too many walk-ins disrupt our workflow. Also, if you show up unexpectedly, you might find the shop locked while we’re out test-riding a bike.

Give us a quick call instead—we’ll schedule your service, gather all the details, and let you know exactly when to bring your bike in. This system keeps our workflow smooth and gets you back on the road faster.

  • Efficiency is key. That’s why we collect all necessary info when you schedule service—so dropping off the bike is just handing over the key. We ask that you bring your bike the day before your appointment. If you can’t make it during business hours, no worries—use our 24-hour drop box.

When we’re done, you’ll receive an invoice plus any notes or video walkthroughs of the work. Pay online securely, then pick up your bike at a scheduled time. Need after-hours pick-up? We can usually accommodate that, too.

  • Unfortunately, no. We can’t guarantee a free lift right when you arrive, and discovering extra issues or parts needs can prolong a simple job. Scheduled drop-offs let us provide the best service without rushing or keeping you waiting around.

    • Off-bike mount & balance: Usually same or next day.

    • On-bike installs: We could be booked 1–2 weeks out during peak season. We ask that you drop off your bike the day before its scheduled appointment, aiming to finish the next business day.

Parts & Pricing

  • We work with top suppliers and pass the savings on to you. We only sell tires alongside our mounting and balancing service, which helps keep overall costs low and quality high.

(If you’re looking for even more tire-specific details, See Out Tire Page!)

  • Most riders find our tire prices match or beat online deals. Plus, it’s more convenient to let us handle everything. When we source the tires, we can stand behind both the parts and the labor.

  • It depends. In some cases, we allow customer-supplied parts, but we can’t offer warranties on them, and unknown parts can complicate diagnostics. Also, our part sales help keep labor rates fair. If you supply your own parts, a different pricing structure may apply.

Policies & Approach

  • Unfortunately, no. Our insurance doesn’t allow customers in the shop area due to liability reasons. We do provide photos or videos if we discover additional issues or want to explain a repair more clearly.

  • We’re happy to share basic advice—especially if it helps you avoid wasting money by “throwing parts” at a problem. For complex repairs, we recommend bringing your bike in so we can diagnose and fix it properly the first time.
